![]() ![]() Because torpedoes have a fixed depth they travel at, DWT will actually strike and pass through ships they are not authorized to affect, rather than it being a matter of actually hitting. And again, since all WG games use realistic physics (you can actually fire at a ship/tank, ricochet and kill someone else near your target), if the sub hull depth matches the deep torpedo depth, it should work. ![]() You can't say that "this torp hits subs" because it depends. Or, can hit sub bridge if it is at periscope depth. Even normal dd torps only hit surfaced subs. but that could be an oversight by WG, or even unsureness, because for Cruiser it's easy, torps either hit or they don't.
